Playful girl

Peter taught Sammie how to warm up quickly by putting a blanket over the heater. It's her new cool thing to do :)

Sammie is big on songs this week - Twinkle Twinkle is her favorite. She loves to do the hand motion and is trying to do the diamond in the swing with her hands. The weather has been so nice out (80/90) so Sammie and I have been busy swimming, going to the park and doing wagon strolls after dinner. She still isn't doing well - her fever is still going strong and she is going crazy with her teeth. She wants to chew on everything! Poor girl!

Art class

Only in California can you go from shorts to overalls - all in the same week! Here is Sammie getting ready to go to art class.












At class they have tables with activities - they had a table with shaving cream and food color to rub around and a play doh table. Sammie likes to play with Wyatt in class.

I have a bone to pick - why do Mom's bring toys/dolls/stuffed animals to class? It drives me crazy! It seems common sense to me that every kid in the class is going to want to have it, so why do they do it and expect the kids to not want to play with it? DUH!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! This is Sammie's music teacher, Mary Lynn. Sammie loves to bang on the drum before class with the other kids :)

Sammie and I went to mexican after music class. I learned that Sammie does not like mexican food (except for chips!)

She does, however, love strawberries! I can't even buy them at the store without her wanting one. The best part is how she says strawberry - way cute!

We took Sammie to the kids faire in Los Gatos. It was nice for us all to hang out together. Daddy-o has been working a lot and Sammie & I have been missing him! They had a little area for just kids. It was so cute - little tiny jumpy houses, a play area for just the little ones and they even had food, so we ate lunch there too.

Issues for this week: Poor boo boo has had a low grade fever. We went to see her doctor on Friday and she said Sammie has 2 teeth cutting thru and 2 more coming down. So needless to say, Sammie is again not sleeping and overall is in pain all day.

A walk in the park

So I am so ready for summer! Sammie and I have been hiking a few times the week so that I can get in shape for summer!

Here is my little hiking princess. Only in California can it be sunny and a massive down pour next! The hike started out great, then bam! It rained hard, then bam! It was sunny again!

Later that afternoon (since it was raining), we went to Chuck E Cheese to play with some friends. This is Sammie's friend, Sydney :) They are sitting in a tea cup ride.

Sammie & Nics Big Adventure

So Evelyn & I decided that it might be fun to take the kids on the light rail train to downtown SJ for some ice cream. This was Sammie's first time seeing the "train" up close.

They looked so cute waiting with their tickets to get on the train!

After we got off of the train, we saw this water thingy on the side of a building.

Then they saw some construction work being done at the water play area in front of the Fairmont.








We checked out a fountain on the way back to the train station.

Little Gym

Tuesday mornings is Little Gym class!

Sammie loves her Little Gym Class! She is a big balance beam girl. She does not like in any way the dual bar activities!

Funny thing about this pink ball - every kid there wanted it- some would come up and literally tear it from Miss Sammie's hands! Guess who won that battle(note who has the ball!) Kids do the funniest things :)

Sammie is a big bubble lover. She will drop what ever she is doing to come and see the bubbles!



Whew - Sammie is pooped out at the end of class!











The gym had some lemonade and cookies out for the kids, so Sammie and her friends Payten and Harrison each snagged one and sat at the little table to eat them. Sammie calls anything thast is not B/L/D a "snacky".
