Music in the Park

This will be the first of many picture where you see Daddy-o not smiling. Peter will not be smiling until his braces come off!

Mama tries to teach Sammie how to blow a kiss. She thinks its funny.

Sammie enjoys the slide. These days she is trying to figure out how to walk back up it.

The day is almost done. Sammie taking a play break. We enjoy a family photo together while we listen to the band.

Play date on a rainy day

Only in California in July will it be sunny in the morning and raining later that day! Here is Sammie at her 1st park play date with Tiki and Dylan! She loved that Tiki was pushing her - she just laughed and laughed.


Here she is with Dylan. She pushed Dyl right out of the way to drive the "car". He was very nice to her. Later they slid down the slide together.

Good morning!

Welcome to a day in the life of Miss Sammie.

Sammie has chores - she gets Miss Kitty's food each morning and give it to mama. Every morning she brings me 2 cans of food and every morning I tell her to put one back. After I get Sheops food on the plate she always asks to have some. Silly boo boo :) Then she took her babies for a little walk around and parked them by her chair. She eats her toast as she watches her favorite show (go baby!)

Fire trucks, ambulances oh my!

Just another day at the Children's Discovery Museum! Sammie is really into all vehicles and knowing what they are called. She was super excited to see a real live fire truck that you could touch!

Happy 4th of July

4th of July is a big deal with the Monahan clan.

Sammie submitted her ants in the pet parade and won a ribbon for the animal with the most legs.

Her 4th of July poster won a ribbon too for best abstract art.

Then we pimped out her wagon so she could participate in the bike parade. No, she doesn't have pacifiers all day. She was sick and cranky, so we negotiated it into the deal to get her to sit for the parade :) Princess Sammie and Princess Tyler in their carriage

Kiki and Nene come for a visit

Sammie loves her girlfriend cousins! She has been repeating their names over and over ever since she could talk! It's big deal when Kiki and Nene come to stay.

Our adventure starts with Nene at the Oakland Zoo. We went to the petting zoo, but Nene didn't like getting too close to the animals and Sammie didn't like it either so we left there. Here is a shot of Nene & Sam by the giraffe

After dinner we went to Baskin Robbin. Kiki is so nice to Sammie - she shares her ice cream!

The next day we went to Bonfante Gardens. Sammie didn't sleep very much this day, so she was a little hot and cranky. Here is Kiki again with ice cream . . . I think I am seeing a trend here . . . this is Sammie's 1st time licking an ice cream cone :)Sammie loves these little bunny ears . . . she is such a girly girl! Sammie is showing Kiki her expert puzzling skills!

The next day we went to Great America's boomarang bay! Wow this place was great for all 3 girls! This is going to be our new summer hang out! The water was warm!

Sammie got a cold, so she was sick, but she still loved this place! Here she is sitting like a fat cat in the cabana eating her lunch!

It was Brady's BD, so PJ, Logan, Gannon, Brady & godmother Jill were there too!

While Nene & Kiki rode all of the slides; Sammie and I hung in the shallow areas of the water with Jill & PJ.
