Yikes! A week in review!

What can I say, payroll taxes were due this week, so i am behind on my blog! Here is a picture of my little boo boo bear sleeping! She has been sleeping better now that we changed her medication.

On Monday we went to the pet store to get some stuff for our kitty, Miss Sheops. Sammie loves to go to the pet store. We look at the birds, fish and mice every time we are there :)

Monday nite was Uncle's BD. Sammie was excited to see all of her cousins. She had great fun playing with E & R

On Wednesday she had a great time playing with daddy-o that night. They made their first fort together. Daddy-o got a flash light and that was pretty fun!












On Thursday started out great. We went to art class - we played with stamps and made a giraffe with paint.

We went to the park that afternoon. Sammie loves to press the button to get the fountain to spray water! That nite Sammie came down with a fever! Ut oh!










On Friday Sammie still didn't feel great. She had bursts of energy when the Tylenol kicked in. We played with play doh. This is the 1st time we made a face with it.









Later that afternoon we made a card for aunt M in CT. I took her to the dr that afternoon and they said she had a virus.


Daddy-o had to work late, so G/G came to see how you were doing and ended up staying for dinner.

You were very happy to have some company over! I think you were a little sick of being with me.










On Saturday Daddy-o took you, bear and bunny for a little wagon ride. You two are sooooo cute! Apparently the people you met on the trial thought you looked like a princess in your carriage.


Tonite we took you out for fine dinning - Fresh Choice! I've come to realize you don't really are for their food, so i need to find somewhere else for us to go.

New stuff you do:

You overheard me talking to a friend and saying "dude". You thought that was the funniest word you ever heard!

Be warned! Daddy-o taught you the word fart and you know how to use it. Unfortunately for Daddy-o, you now call him out when he drops bombs on us :) Good job boo boo!

I love Fridays because that means the weekend is here! We kicked off our normal Friday with Music Together class. As usual, you loved it and we went to lunch afterwards.

Great choice! Sammie took Mama to lunch at the Fleur de Coco cafe. We split and salad, quiche and a croissant (and a little dessert for Daddy!). I took the picture for Terrina, since she does it on her blog! Btw, you tried, but don't care for tomatoes. You like to say the word tho - you think that's fun!

You sat at the table with me - on an actual chair! You had a TON of fun greeting all the people who came in, but especially liked to greet the babies with their mommies. When we left you said bye, then ciao, ciao. Uncle Tom would be so proud!

Lately you have been doing this weird thing with you hand. You just tap it. We can be looking out the window or reading a book and you just tap. It's weird and funny at the same time. Daddy thinks you are thinking of your rollover song, but who knows.

We went to the park this afternoon. You now know what the park looks like and start saying the work "park" before we have even parked! You found a little acorn and thought about eating it, but I steered you away from that decision. Good move Sammie! You are so funny - you are such a girly girl. You love lotion, powder, necklaces and bracelets. Here you are inspecting your necklace.

You were determined to climb the rock wall - that a girl!

You had a bad acid reflux day today. You seem to be in pain, so I am going to try to get you in to the specialist next week. Poor little baby boo boo bear!

Ah Ah Ah Chooooo

I am counting the days down until Sammie turns 2 and I can take her to the allergist! This poor girl has had a running nose for at least 2 weeks! I guess no kid is in good shape during these days.

I hate to complain, buuuuut my back is killing me. Every night I lay down and my back pops back into place! Sammie is working me! She wants to be picked up so much right now - I love it and hate it at the same time.

Sammie's first art class OMG - how much fun did you have today - A LOT!

Today was the first day of your very first formal class. You actually sat in the chairs like a regular kid - bizzzzzzzare . . . makes my mind swirl! Anyway - you did a finger painting project, some play doh play time, we made this flower thing from crate paper and we made a planter for your little plant. I think you liked the play doh table the best!

Jill (mommie's BF/your godmother) and baby Peyton are also in the class. So all through class you and PJ followed each other around. Too cute! To close out the class we all sat in a circle ("circle time") and sang songs. You loved Wheels on the Bus and Twinkle Twinkle.










After class we went to the library - you and PJ ran around screaming like crazy women - pulling books out and looking at them for a second! You are a big book reader - we are reading all day. It is the 2nd thing we do each day after I change your diaper! Here you are reading in the car on the way to lunch-y.










For lunch, we went to Togos with Jill, PJ & Brady (who is now thankfully out of the hospital, but not in the pic!). You like broccoli cheese soup and sc and onion potato chips - who knew!

At the store today, you showed the clerk your expert reading skills - "Sammie Sammie Sam" - they were dying from laughter.

New Stuff
I am teaching you Patty Cake - you like it, but can't do it.

You seem burnt out on the Wiggles, so I need to find something new.

You love egg rolls, lettus wraps, spareribs and fried rice (yes we got Chinese take out for Survivor Nite!)

You are a puzzler!

You are starting to read "older kid books" - not only hard pages anymore!

You have been sleeping through the nite for almost a week now - ahhhh how sweet life is!

Sammie likes to play

This is Joey from Little Gym class. Sammie & Joey pal around most classes :)
Sammie & I went to Gymboree today because it was so cold out! We met up with Brody and played :)

Stop corn thief! Sammie is such a good eater (we are lucky!) She ate all of her dinner, then some of mine. I learned tonight that she likes mushrooms cooked in butter and garlic. She likes to say the word mushroom. She also likes the purple potatoes when they are baked in the oven with strips of onion.

What a fun weekend :) This past weekend was Daddy-o's birthday, so we cleared out to give him a little alone time. He ended up working both days that we left, but oh well!

On Saturday morning we went to your first soccer class at the place where Daddy-o plays soccer - Off the Wall.

Later that morning we drove down to Morgan Hill to visit Kim Windsor's Farm with cousins Jimmy & Johnny, but the weather turned rainy before we got there. So instead we went shopping at the outlets in Gilroy! Yay! It was really empty there because of the rain, so you got to run all over like a maniac. The stores were empty, so no one minded! It was great! You were pretty fascinated by the rain.

On Sunday morning we gave Daddy-o his birthday gifts. You gave him a soccer sweatsuit and your hand print that you did in paint and I gave him tickets to the Police concert! Sunday morning you and I went to the park. That afternoon I taught you how to rollover (again) because you love this song you call "Rollover http://worldkids.net/entertainment/music/lyrics/kidsongs/10inbed.htm".

On Sunday nite we went up to Grammy/Grampys to celebrate Daddy-o birthday with dinner at Patrick James http://www.patrickdavids.com/restaurant.html. I was so proud of you - you did such a great job at dinner. You behaved like the perfect little lady :)

Today (Monday) you had a play date at Brody's house in the morning and then this afternoon we took a run to the park. You played in the water area, flashed your bellybutton to everyone and got really scared when the water went off and got you all wet!

You have been sleeping so peacefully every night. It's heavenly. We are so happy for you!
