Sammie milestones

Sammie Milestones:
--She has started using the potty. She will tell us when she wants to use it.
--She likes swimming
--She sings simple tunes (only parts of songs) like Happy BD, Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle and melodies of other songs
--She counts to five, but I'm not sure she know what it means



Here is Sammie waiting for mama to pack up so we can go for a swim. She loves this little Wiggles toys. She presses the buttons and it plays Wiggles songs.
Finally Sammie likes the pool again. She was anti-pool since summer began, but now she is super comfortable in the baby pool at my parents cabana club. It's quite there and she is usually the only toddler in the baby pool so she goes all the way in and walks around . . . by herself! She has a little treasure chest of toys with pretend jewels and she likes to throw them in the water. Before she throws them in she looks at me and trys to say "ready,set go!"

Any given morning

At the Frank house on any given morning, you will find Sammie sitting outside eating her breakfast and talking to the birds . . . . or . . .

eating and playing at the water table all at the same time! I love warm summer mornings. One of my most fond memories is playing out in the morning sun after breakfast. It appears Sammie likes it too!

My busy little bee

Ok i can't seem to keep this thing up on a regular basis! I take the pictures, but never get them up timely. It drives me crazy! Anyhow this is what me and lady bug have been up to :)

Sammie went to Bonfante Gardens with her friends Zani and Sydney. This was the first ride she has even been on. (That is Zani behind her and Syd in front of her). Sammie really loved being part of a kid group.

The beach! Miss Sammie loves to play at the beach. Her new things is to have me dig a hole and she fills it with water from the ocean. Then she calls it her bathtub.

She has been on a big brownie kick. One of her books has a scratch and snif brownie, so i thought we'd make some. Sammie likes to help. She is my official liquid pourer for all recipes. She liked to lick the bowl afterwards. Even now (2 weeks later) she still asks for a brownie, but does really good when i say "that sounds good, but we don't have any!"
Another beach day, but this time we had a special guest! Noni (aka Grandma Sue) came to join us in Capitola. She even stopped at our regular ice cream join for a little treat after our beach day! This is the first time I brought chairs with us and Sammie loved sitting in them . . . my little beach bum! We stopped at this great bakery on the way home - Gayles. Ummmmm!

Miss Sammie loves to play in her kitchen. Her new thing is to make you something to eat. She loves the microwave so much that I had to put a step stool in her room so she could reach it!

We went to check out this place called themefest. It's an imagination type play place. Sammie liked the disco karaoke dance floor area. She was mesmerized watching herself on the tv screen. Here is her friend Kiera. It was cute to watch them run around like crazy women :)
