Daddy-o comes home early!

TGIF and Daddy-o is home to play! I could hardly believe my eyes, but my love was home at 2pm! We were so excited that we piled into the car and kidnapped Daddy to go to the beach with us!

Sammie's beach day in Capitola

Geeze! I forgot how much I love Capitola! Sammie and I had such a great time! When we got there, we went for lunch at Margaritaville, then off to play in the sand!

We made a friend -a girl named Ursala, who is 3 and lives in Capitola. Sammie and Ursala played the entire day together. They read books and played with each other's beach balls. This is Sammie holding Ursala's ball. She really wanted to keep it, but surprisingly understood when I told her it wasn't ours.

After a few hours we went for ice cream and headding home. Sammie was very excited to tell Daddy-o all about the ocean and beach.

San Diego Zoo

Wow - the zoo was cool. It was our last adventure day in San Diego and we finally got things right!

We actually finished the entire zoo by 1pm that day. We cruised by the childrens zoo. Not that great when compared to our local zoos. Sammie & I did the bug photo shoot. Peter & Sammie enjoyed looking at the spiders and snakes.

We saw the chimps, gorillias and hippos. Sammie liked to touch the clay animals they had around.

Then we walked thru the Ituri forest which was shaded and lush with plants and birds chirping. We actually got lost on the way to the giraffes, but we still had fun. We saw the camels and merekeets. The elephants and giraffes were a big hit.

We followed Sammie's normal schedule, which was the way to go. We had no outburst the entire day! Boy was Sammie pooped by the end of that day!

Almost every night we went to dinner at the beach. I took these pictures with my ohne, so they didn't come out good.

Seaworld

Seaworld was a blast!

We got lucky because Sammie took a nap on the drive there so she was in a great mood.

Peter got really into the animals, so we have lots of pictures of those! I am planning on making Sammie a little book of the animals we saw - here are a few:

Kaitlyn and Sammie were so cute. Sammie took the big sister role and held Kaitlyns hand often when they were walking around.

Legoland!

So it was tough getting to SD. Sammie has a little ear infection, but the doctor said it was ok to fly. Boy was she wrong. Poor Sammie was miserable. It was an awful last 20 minutes of her screaming, throwing up and kicking the poor guys chair in front of us!

So our 2nd day there was full of fun stuff. Legoland was the destination.

She had fun digging for bones in their sand area.

She loved the toddler play area and just went from rocker to rocker for about an hour.

We took a ride on their little train which was very cute too.
We found a little car made of legos that she could sit in.

She liked the little lego towns.

It was a tiring full day, but was lots of fun! She parted with a little zoo lego set that she played with at dinner.

So we bought Sammie this pimped out car that she absolutely loves!

A play date with my BF daughter, Peytan.

So Mother's Day was wonderful. I took Sat as my mother's day and left Sundy for our moms.

I went out for a pedicure and a massage, then we went to Bonfante for the remainder of the day. It was a great day! Have I mentioned how much Sammie loves money. She gets mad when I don't let her give the $ to the teller! It's crazy! She is only one!

Sunday was crazy! We spend the morning with my mom and all the cousins. I think everyone should take more pictures with their loved ones. In the afternoon, we spend the evening with P's mom.
